My interests right now fall largely at the intersection of metaphysics & epistemology and feminist philosophy. I'm especially interested in social construction, social epistemology and philosophy of science.

Right now I'm engaged with two projects in this area: (i) investigating the "incompatibility" of self-knowledge with an externalist theory of social kind terms in transgender cases; (ii) inquiry into phenomena surrounding the revision of institutionalized ontologies in situations such as the American Psychiatric Association's deletion of homosexuality from the DSM in 1973.

I'm also interested in "straight" M&E (particularly essentialism, concepts, coherence theory, personal identity and semantic externalism) and some Continental philosophy (particularly Foucault and the Frankfurt School).
